There are many ways in which CCAR Rabbis and Jewish leaders make this happen:
CCAR Leadership Fund, Rav Shem Tov Society—The CCAR Leadership Fund, Rav Shem Tov Society promotes rabbinic leadership for Reform Rabbis who serve and lead the Jewish community in North America. Rabbis and their congregations/organizations are invited to celebrate and commemorate special achievements or professional milestones in the life of their rabbi, by enrolling the rabbi in the Leadership Fund’s Rav Shem Tov Society, with a minimum donation of $18,000. The rabbi will remain honored throughout his or her lifetime and into perpetuity.
Annual Giving Campaign—Now in its fourth year, the Annual Giving Campaign enjoys generous support from hundreds of CCAR members. Please consider joining the growing list of colleagues who donate to enhance the outstanding programs and services now available. For information, please contact our chairs, Rabbis Jamie Gibson or Michelle Pearlman.
Friends of the Conference—The CCAR invites interested members of the Jewish community to unite with the rabbinic leaders of Reform Judaism to support the future of Jewish life. Through the Friends group, community members will engage in conversation with CCAR leadership to share views about the pressing issues of the day and to provide financial support to CCAR’s Mission. For information, please contact Laura Mardiks, CCAR Development Manager.
Press Naming Opportunities—Generous dedication gifts enable the CCAR Press to continue its historic mission of providing resources to rabbis and the entire Jewish community while, at the same time, leading the way into e-publishing. Recent gifts have funded the creation and publication of several titles such as Mishkan R’fuah: Where Healing Resides and Sharing the Journey: The Haggadah for the Contemporary Family. Many naming opportunities are available. Please contact Rabbi Hara Person, Director and Publisher of CCAR Press.
Atid Legacy Society—Over the years, many bequests have supported the work of the CCAR. Rabbis may wish to consider leaving a gift through their RPB or other pension account. Support the next generation of rabbis by designating a planned gift through your estate. For more information, please contact committee chair, Rabbi Fred Reiner.
To explore these and other opportunities to support the work of the Reform Rabbinate and the CCAR, please contact Rabbi Paul Kipnes, chair, CCAR Revenue Enhancement Committee or Rabbi Steven A. Fox, Chief Executive, CCAR.
With gratitude, we thank you, CCAR Rabbis and friends. Your contributions beyond dues enrich and strengthen the Reform Rabbinate and Jewish community to ensure a vibrant Jewish life today and for future generations.
Through the incredible growth of the Annual Giving Campaign, CCAR Press publications naming gifts, bequests made by Atid Legacy Society members, and the introduction to Friends of the Conference, you help support, strengthen, and provide for outstanding rabbinic leadership.
